Ion Exchange - Demineralisation. Ion exchange is a rapid and reversible technique in which the ionic
contaminants present in feedwater are exchanged for ions released by the
ion-exchange resin. The contaminants are taken up by the resin, which must be
periodically regenerated to restore it to it's original form. This technique is used by Purite in the Labwater Deionisers, which are
designed for customers requiring a low volume of pure water on an infrequent
basis. Units are wall mounted and easy to install to a mains supply. The
disposable cartridge is easily replaced when exhausted. Water quality output: better than 1M , produced to BS
EN ISO3696 Grade 2. Flow rates: up to 60 litres/hour.
